06/ 2014 New release: NiñodeFuego – Caen Los Ángeles

Eternal Sunday present’s NiñodeFuego‘s second single: Caen Los Ángeles
 
NiñodeFuego is a new music project of Argentinean producer, singer, songwriter and sessionist Chino Ribalta, who’s also the director or the Make It Music label and production company. Chino Ribalta has more than 10 solo releases and has collaborated in many other projects, including playing drums for the rock band Can Can in the 80′s and early 90′s.

In NiñodeFuego Ribalta explores the Argentinean folk sound roots again, this time with a more experimental attitude, even adding an electronic music touch to the traditional instrumentation. The songs are in Spanish and the lyrics are personal and introspective.

Caen Los Ángeles is the second of a series of singles that’ll be released anticipating NiñodeFuego’s debut album. The first one was Abre El Cielo. It features two remixes by Julian Gomez.

Gonzalo Schmidt is a young DJ, radio host and producer from Chaco, Argentina. In Roots, his first release, he combines electronic dance grooves and sounds with the typical Argentinean folk guitar rhythm malambo.

ExZentrica presenta el álbum debut de LaW PoP - 10 Años.

Hay una música que suena en la radio y que todos conocen, y hay escenas under. En el under los artistas no llenan estadios, no andan en limousinas y no viven la vida loca; todo se hace a escala pequeña, por amor al arte, en condiciones que distan de lo ideal.  

Laureano Pita, o mejor su alter ego LaW PoP, conoce bien el under. Lo ha transitado durante 10 años, llevando su electropop sensible y a veces melancólico a todos sus rincones. Bares, fiestas, radios, discos, canales de TV, festivales grandes y pequeños, LaW Pop estuvo en todos lados, tanto como artista como organizador de ciclos (en Prana Pelu, entre otros lugares) y RRPP.

Su música es, como él la define, pop sensible, un electropop con infuencias de los ’80, disco, funk y glam, con mucha producción escénica y visual, y con letras sensibles que hablan de amor, soledad, pérdidas, relaciones, añoranzas y confusión juvenil.

Conocerlo es indispensable para comprender el under electropop de Buenos Aires de comienzo del milenio, del que ha sido protagonista indiscutible. Las calidad de las letras, la simpleza pop de las melodías, los estribillos radiales, los ritmos hipnóticos y los vestuarios glamorosos hacen que la experiencia sea gratamente inolvidable.

ExZentrica: 04/ 2014 Nuevo lanzamiento: Tiago Galindez & The Vibrations – Hoy

Tiago Galíndez es un músico, cantante y compositor oriundo de Rosario, Argentina. Se hizo conocido en la escena local liderando la banda powerpop con canciones en inglés The Kavanaghs, con la que ha girado por Europa y Estados Unidos, pero antes de formar The Kavanaghs tuvo una etapa solista que quedó plasmada en su álbum Hoy, que permaneció muchos años inédito.

Hoy nos muestra una cara más personal de Tiago, y quizás más adolecente e idealista. Musicalmente no disimula las infuencias de la trova rosarina, especialmente de Fito Páez, y las canciones hablan de un joven sensible entrando en la adultez en una ciudad que no siempre lo contiene. Amor, soledad, confusión, preguntas y reflexiones acerca de la vida se combinan en el álbum de quien sin duda será recordado como uno de los grandes compositores de su generación, que nos demuestra que las buenas canciones no tienen limitaciones de idioma ni de estilos, y que nunca se es demasiado joven para componerlas.

ExZentrica: 04/ 2014 Nuevo videoclip: Blop! – Blop Blop Blop

Blop!, la banda electropop oriunda de Tandil, presenta el videoclip de su pegadiza canción “Blop Blop Blop”. 

 

El video estuvo dirigido por Victoria Basterrica, junto a Natalia Rojas García– Blásquez, Pamela Gonzalez y Sebastian Valenzuela, y se filmó en la ciudad de Tandil en diciembre de 2013.

“Blop Blop Blop” es un videoclip minimalista y casi surrealista que constantemente recurre al juego de la seducción donde se entrelazan el mundo terrenal y el virtual hasta que los protagonistas se encuentran en la misma sintonía.

04/ 2014 New release: Canal Pop feat. Gaby Laguzzi - Don’t Bring Me Down

Several years ago Canal Pop recorded with singer Gaby Laguzzi a cover version of Electric Light Orcherstra’s 1979 hit “Don’t Bring Me Down”. This version was only available in the deluxe CD version of the EP + remixes We Never Play Live In Buenos Aires. Now, Eternal Sunday finally releases it digitally as a single.

Incidentally this is the only Canal Pop song to this date that features guitars, played by Valerio Rinaldi in his first collaboration with Canal Pop/ Eternal Sunday.
