12/ 2012 New Release: Electric Future Beats 2012: New Electronic Music From Argentina

The first edition of Electric Future Beats: New Electronic Music From Argentina was released in 2011 and featured 8 tracks by some great underground electronic music producers from Argentina. It was simply made because an online search of the words “electronic” “music” “Argentina” returned no releases with those words, so the label concluded that there was a need for a compilation of Argentinean electronic music artists.


That compilation won the Premio Gardel award (the Argentinean equivalent to the Grammys) to the best electronic album of the year, so it was a good idea to come up with a 2012 edition. And here it is, a new volume of the Electric Future Beats compilation. There are some improvements. The first one was based on progressive house, but this one covers many styles, including house, vocal house, trance, electro house, etc. This edition will be properly released as a Beatport store exclusive, focusing on DJs and electronic music consumers. Once again, Eternal Sunday fulfills its promise of delivering new great music from Argentina to the world.

08/ 2012 Gardel Awards 2012: Electric Future Beats: Progressive nominated

On August 28, 2012 CAPIF announced the nominations for the Premios Gardel/ Gardel Awards (the Argentinean equivalent to the Grammys) and Electric Future Beats: Progressive: New Electronic Music From Argentina, released by Eternal Sunday is one of the three candidates for best electronic music album, next to Emisor and Julián Aznar.

This is the 14th ediction of the Gardel Awards and there are 45 categories.

El 28 de Agosto de 2012 CAPIF dio a conocer las nominaciones a los Premios Gardel (el equivalente argentino de los Grammys) y Electric Future Beats: Progressive: New Electronic Music From Argentina, lanzada por Eternal Sunday integra la terna de los candidatos a mejor álbum de Música electrónica, junto a Emisor y Julián Aznar.

07/ 2011 Ariel Curtis mentioned at the official Pet Shop Boys website

The artist, producer, composer and remixer Ariel Curtis was mentioned at the Pet Shop Boys official website. Apparently someone thinks his album cover is too similar to a PSB's cover. Give us a break guys, we're big fans!

Ariel Curtis songs were featured in several Eternal Sunday compilations, he remixed some Eternal Sunday tracks and some of his electronic tracks are part of the Eternal Sunday audiovisual library.
